* Franz Lehar's Operetta "Gypsy Love" ("Zigeuner Liebe") and "The Birdseller" ("Der Vogelhandler") by Carl Zeller are to be performed at the Lehar Operetta Festival in Bad Ischl, Summer 2012. The Annual "Kaiser Gala" will take place on 16th August 2012. There will also be various other concerts and events throughout July and August. Click here for details.
* Emmerich Kalman's Operetta "Countess Maritza" and Ralph Benatzky's Revue-Operetta "The Three Musketeers" will be the main productions at the Summer Operetta Festival in Baden, near Vienna, Summer 2012. * The Operetta Theatre in Dresden (Germany) features a full programme of Operetta and Musicals throughout the year. A festival of Operetta by Johann Strauss and Jacques Offenbach will be held in May 2012. For more information. Click here.
* Donizetti's Opera "Don Pasquale" is to be performed at Klosterneuberg Abbey, near Vienna, in Summer 2012. Klosterneuberg may be visited as part of a holiday in Baden (Click here) or a City Break in Vienna (Click here).
* Lehar's Operetta "The Land of Smiles" is to be performed at the Theresianum in Vienna, Summer 2012. This will be coupled with a very rare opportunity to see "The Polish Wedding" an Operetta by the Jewish composer Joseph Beer.
